Michelle Cheng is the Team Lead in Software Engineering in Automotive Steering at Bosch. She leads a team of software engineers developing electrical power steering. She and her team are responsible for base / infrastructure software, CX (CI/CT/CD), vECU, and sw integration.

Michelle has over nine years of experience in automotive. She has been working at Bosch since 2016. Prior to Bosch, she worked at DENSO for 2 years. Michelle spent the first seven years of her career working on ADAS / radar function development & technical project management, followed by one year of product management as the Rail Business Field Responsible for Bosch Engineering North America. Then took the team lead role in steering software development in 2022.

Michelle earned her Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University. She is currently a board member of Women@Bosch and Asians@Bosch BRGs.
