Michael Stevens is the longest serving member of the LIC Corp HR team having joined SMP on June 2, 2004. Mike joined SMP as a HR Manager and has since served in multiple roles of progressive responsibility.  Mike is currently Director of Culture and People Development. In this position, Mike will is responsible for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion activities, people development and training initiatives, including but not limited to the SMP mentoring program, internally developed training programs, LinkedIn Learning platform, compliance training, development plan follow up and reporting. Mike has a BS in Business Administration from The King’s College (NY), a MBA from Mercy College, and an Executive JD from William Howard Taft University Law School.
