Joseph F.  Fadool
Vice President and President and General Manager of BorgWarner Emissions, Thermal and Turbo Systems

Joseph F. Fadool was appointed Vice President and President and General Manager of BorgWarner Emissions, Thermal and Turbo Systems in October 2019. In this role, Fadool oversees BorgWarner’s global Emissions, Thermal and Turbo Systems business.

Prior to his current role, Fadool also held top positions in other BorgWarner businesses including President and General Manager of Morse Systems and TorqTransfer Systems.

Prior to joining BorgWarner in 2010, Fadool worked at Continental as Vice President for North American Electronic Operations. He previously held various positions with increasing responsibility at Continental and Siemens VDO Automotive including general management, operations, sales, and program management. Prior to joining Continental, Fadool spent seven years with Ford Motor Company, where he was involved in project management, product development, and the launches of several major vehicles, including the Mustang and Taurus programs.

Fadool earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University and received a Master of Science in computer and electronic controls from Wayne State University. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

Fadool is currently serving as a board member of CLEPA. Enexor and the Turbo Energy Private Limited joint venture in India, as well as a cabinet member of United Way for Southeastern Michigan.
